Have you checked the ingredients in your ranch dressing lately? I couldn't find one bottle of ranch that didn't have high fructose corn syrup, preservatives, soy oil, or other questionable ingredients.
So here is my version of home-made, wholesome, and delicious ranch dressing, which you can use on your veggies or as a salad dressing.
1 cup organic whole sour cream
1 crushed garlic clove
1 tbs fresh dill (or ¼ tsp dried)
unrefined salt to taste
1 tbs lemon juice
2 tbs extra-virgin olive oil
½ tsp powdered onion (optional)
freshly ground pepper to taste (optional)
Put everything into a blender and blend until smooth. Transfer into a glass container and keep any leftovers covered in the fridge. Enjoy!
